SIP Phones

Do I need a SIP Phone?

A SIP phone usually supports all the smart features that your ITSP provides, e.g. voicemail,, call waiting, call forward, 3-way conference, caller display etc. A SIP phone is ready to go out of the box without the need of an adapter. All that is require is a spare LAN port.

How does it fit in to my setup?

With a SIP phone, you can just plug it straight into a spare port on your ADSL or cable router or switch. You do not need an adapter anymore.

Where to buy?

As with adapters, your first stop should be your chosen VoiP provider. Both Sipgate and Vonage sells the UTStarcom F1000G Wi-Fi VoiP mobile.
