CounterPath Solutions, previously known as Xten Networks, is the maker of the most popular independent softphone around. Previously called X-Pro, now eyeBeam, are used by many VoIP providers as their softphone solution.
Eyebeam supports 10+ SIP accounts and 6 lines and has video conferencing features. You are also able to record your audio and video.
X-Lite does not have all the advance features that eyebeam has, e.g. only 3 lines instead of 6. X-Lite is available for Linux where as eyeBeam is currently Windows, Mac and PocketPC only.
