It's got a colour display and it's set to work with Skype. The company also unveiled today a PC-connected speakerphone and a Bluetooth headset for phones.

Taiwan's Edge-Core will ship its first Wi-Fi phone with on-board Skype software at the end of the month, the company said today. The gadget uses Wi-Fi's Wireless Multimedia (WMM) add-on technology to enhance call quality.

Innovative Jajah uses PCs for internet phone calls - but only to set up the calls. They then connect two landline or mobile phones together to chat over the IP network. Now, the company has revealed it's going one step further, and will use a Java applet on the phone itself to set up the call.
